Navigating through subway stations, underground parking garages, and factory workshops, a growing number of autonomous cleaning vehicles are quietly transforming the landscape of urban smart operations and maintenance. Faced with the dual challenges of cleaning labor shortages and refined management, Velobotics, an enterprise based in Beijing E-Town, is advancing the implementation of the "E-Town Solution" through technological innovation. A relevant person in charge of Velobotics stated: "The Viggo series of autonomous cleaning vehicles have been put into use in over 3,000 scenarios nationwide, covering various formats such as transportation hubs and commercial complexes."
Velobotics' Viggo series has launched multiple models such as the SC50 and SC80 series, continuously expanding its product lineup. Taking the SC50 as an example, this autonomous cleaning vehicle can achieve a maximum battery life of 8 hours on a single charge, with a daily cleaning coverage of up to 15,000 square meters—equivalent to approximately 2 standard football fields. It can not only intelligently call elevators to operate across floors but also perform precise edge cleaning and dynamic obstacle avoidance, truly realizing full-process automated cleaning in complex public spaces such as stations.
Especially in high-frequency usage scenarios like subways, the Viggo can seamlessly connect with elevator control systems and move freely between different floors. During operation, staff only need to issue instructions with one click through the intelligent management platform, and the Viggo can independently complete a series of operations such as cleaning and taking elevators, achieving "unmanned operation."
In the first quarter of this year, Velobotics also launched a parking garage-specific version of Viggo tailored to underground parking scenarios. This model has enhanced task deployment and precision obstacle avoidance capabilities, driving the transformation of parking garage cleaning from a "labor-intensive model" to "standardized unmanned operations".
In Beijing E-Town, Velobotics' Viggo series has been applied in scenarios such as enterprises and factories. "To date, Velobotics' Viggo series products have been deployed in project scenarios including Hefei South Railway Station and Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, and launched in more than 40 countries and regions such as Singapore, Thailand, and Australia, with a total domestic and foreign sales volume of nearly 10,000 units," the person in charge stated. "Moving forward, Velobotics will continue to iterate on the parking garage version products, deepen the promotion and implementation of the Viggo series in transportation and industrial scenarios, and explore the potential for application in more scenarios such as scenic spots and industrial parks."
