Recently, Velobotics welcomed the visit of Mr. Serdar Alemdar, General Manager of ODTÜ Teknokent (Middle East Technical University Technology Park). Founded in 1956, Middle East Technical University (METU) is one of Turkey’s most prestigious universities. As the most renowned and successful technology park in Turkey and even the entire Middle East region, ODTÜ Teknokent is home to over 700 technology companies — including R&D centers of many multinational corporations in Turkey — and is hailed as Turkey’s "Silicon Valley".

Technology Exchange Fuels Cooperation, Jointly Mapping a New Blueprint for Intelligence

During the visit, Mr. Serdar Alemdar toured Velobotics' brand exhibition hall and gained a comprehensive understanding of the company’s development vision of "empowering various industries with the Autonomous Driving Brain to build smart living ecosystems". With its leading technological R&D capabilities and product commercialization implementation strength, Velobotics has successfully built a complete system covering three major business segments: public security, living services, and intelligent mobility, and shared its mature experience in global commercial applications with the guest.

Taking Root in the Turkish Market, Achieving Remarkable Results in Localized Applications

Velobotics' Viggo has long achieved successful deployment in the Turkish market and established in-depth cooperative partnerships with well-known local enterprises. Hayat Kimya, the world’s fifth-largest branded baby diaper manufacturer and the largest tissue paper producer in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe, has carried out large-scale deployment of Viggo for automated cleaning operations in the factory workshops at its Istanbul headquarters. With its efficient and stable cleaning services, Viggo has significantly improved the cleaning efficiency of the factory environment, reduced operational costs, and become a benchmark case for enterprises' intelligent transformation and upgrading.

Build a Smart Ecosystem Together, Envision a New Future of Cooperation

As a key sci-tech innovation and incubation base in Turkey, ODTÜ Teknokent (Middle East Technical University Technology Park) brings together a large number of high-tech enterprises and R&D institutions. This visit has laid a solid foundation for further advancing resource matching between the two parties.
Looking ahead, Velobotics will continue to deepen technological innovation, optimize product solutions based on localized needs, and explore cooperation opportunities in fields such as smart cities and autonomous driving with more partners, jointly accelerating the large-scale application and development of autonomous driving technology.
